Your furry friend’s comfort and happiness are our top priorities! Our facility is designed with the well-being of dogs in mind, featuring spacious and cosy accommodations. We understand that every dog is unique, with their own personality and needs. That’s why we offer personalised care plans tailored to each dog, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and mental stimulation they require during their stay.

At Wagtime’s dog boarding facility, we accept only a limited number of dogs at a time so that we are able to provide each dog  with a comfortable and safe environment, complete with personalised attention and daily routines that mimic home life.

Whether your dog is staying with us for a day, a week, or longer, you can trust that they will receive compassionate care and an experience that leaves them happy, relaxed, and ready to wag their tails with joy!

A short overview of the boarding intake process:

PRE-TRIAL: Making sure that vaccinations, deworming and tick and flea treatments are up to date.

TRIAL:  Initially, owners are invited to tour our facility, meet our staff, and discuss their dog’s needs. During the trial stay, dogs are gradually introduced to our environment, starting with short visits to familiarise them with our routines, staff, and other dogs. We closely monitor their behaviour, interactions, and comfort levels throughout the trial period. This allows us to assess their adaptability and ensure they feel secure and happy in our care. Regular updates and feedback are provided to owners, ensuring confidence in our ability to provide a safe and enjoyable boarding experience for their beloved pets.

Upon a successful trial, we proceed to make arrangements for the actual stay.

DURING STAY: Our trained staff members are experienced in Fear Free handling techniques, using positive reinforcement and gentle approaches to build trust and reduce anxiety. From soothing music and calming pheromones to interactive enrichment activities, we create a calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and contentment.

Our secure facility is equipped with modern amenities and round the clock supervision. We also offer 24/7 cctv access to to pet parents providing peace of mind to pet parents knowing their beloved companions are in good hands

UNSUCCESSFUL TRIAL: A trial may be unsuccessful because of several reasons, a few of them being severe medical issues that our staff is not trained to handle, severe separation anxiety, severe destructive behaviour, aggression towards staff or other dogs etc. In the event of an unsuccessful trial, we recommend a few thoughtful steps to ensure the well-being of your pet:

  1. Consultation and Assessment: We’ll discuss the specific reasons for the challenges encountered during the trial. This may include behavioural issues, anxiety, or discomfort in the new environment.
  2. Alternative Solutions: Depending on the issues identified, we might suggest alternative options such as private boarding accommodations, behavioural training sessions, or referrals to specialised trainers or veterinarians.

Our priority is always the well-being and happiness of your pet, and we’re committed to finding the best possible solution to ensure a positive experience for both you and your furry family member. It is therefore recommended to make bookings at least a week in advance.
